Dental Aesthetics

In the field of dental aesthetics at Dentatime Clinic, we can offer a wide range of personalised aesthetic solutions to achieve the desired results for every patient. These are most commonly used in cases of tooth decay, changes in the shape, size and colour of the teeth, problematic contact between teeth, or simply a desire to improve one’s appearance.

The personal approach of the Dentatime clinic team to each of our patients is unquestionably linked to the most beautiful and harmonious smile we want to see on their faces.

What is cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry is a specialised field of dentistry that focuses on improving the appearance of the teeth, gums and overall smile. It encompasses a wide range of procedures – from minor adjustments to complete transformations that change not only the smile but also the patient’s self-confidence.

The Smile Design method offered by Dentatime Clinic represents an innovative, comprehensive approach in which aesthetic treatment is planned following an analysis of the patient’s facial aesthetics, based on scientific principles (biomimetics, gnathology, dental technology).

A smile is perceived as harmonious when all the shapes and proportions of the face, together with the dental and gingival structures, are in harmony with one another. Achieving an optimal aesthetic result requires precise analysis and the development of a preliminary design for the future restoration.

What types of aesthetic solutions do we offer?

The comprehensive solutions offered by Dentatime Dental Clinic to achieve aesthetic results are tailored to the individual needs of each patient. We are aware of the wide variety of dental problems and specialise in the most advanced techniques for resolving them.

The comprehensive solutions offered by Dentatime Dental Clinic to achieve aesthetic results are tailored to the individual needs of each patient and include:

Fillings;

Bonding (correction of tooth shape using composite resin);

Ceramic veneers;

Teeth whitening with an LED lamp.

The following defects can be ‘hidden’ with veneers, ceramic and zirconia crowns:

Chipped teeth;

Irregular tooth shape;

Dark tooth colour;

Fluorosis stains;

Teeth that are too short;

Wide gaps between teeth;

Correction of tooth position.

Procedures aimed at achieving aesthetic improvements are carried out by the Dentatime clinic team following an initial consultation with Dr Radoslav Simeonov and the drawing up of a detailed treatment plan.

After impressions are taken, models are created to serve as the basis for future restorations, allowing a preview of the new smile to be tested even before treatment begins. This enables the patient to be actively involved in the design of their new smile from the very start.

We offer 5 options

Veneers

Ceramic crowns

Zirconia crowns

Bonding

Fillings

Veneers

Veneers are thin ceramic shells placed on the outer surface of the front teeth and are one of the most popular solutions in cosmetic dentistry. They are between 0.5 mm and 1 mm thick and require very little tooth reduction. For this reason, they are a good alternative to full crowns.

Unlike other teeth whitening options, where teeth darken again over time, with veneers, a sparkling smile and whiteness are preserved for years to come.

Ceramic crowns

Ceramic crowns are made from biocompatible ceramic – a state-of-the-art material. They are the most modern solution for restoring damaged and non-vital teeth and are an alternative to standard metal-ceramic crowns.

The ceramic crowns made at Dentatime have high aesthetic qualities and a structure resembling that of a natural tooth, thanks to which they restore the natural colour and shape of the tooth and are characterised by great strength.

Zirconia crowns

Zirconia crowns are made from so-called ‘white steel’ – zirconium dioxide. This material is used as a base onto which the ceramic is applied. These crowns are used in the chewing areas of the mouth, as they are characterised by exceptional strength and, at the same time, high aesthetic appeal.

The zirconia framework replaces the metal in metal-ceramic restorations and eliminates their drawbacks, such as greyness and a less translucent colour (light falling on the crowns is not refracted), as well as the frequent discolouration of the gum tissue around the crown.

Bonding

Bonding is a modern cosmetic solution in dentistry that transforms your smile by correcting the shape, size or colour of your teeth. The procedure involves the direct application of a light-curing composite material to the tooth surface.

It is an extremely gentle (minimally invasive), usually quick and affordable alternative. Bonding can be used to close small gaps between teeth, repair minor fractures or replace old and unsightly fillings.

Fillings

A filling, more commonly known as a dental filling, is a key dental procedure aimed at restoring teeth that have been damaged by decay, cracks or other trauma.

The process involves removing the damaged tooth tissue and subsequently filling the cavity. This is a minimally invasive procedure that begins with cleaning the decay and ends with precise preparation and filling, with local anaesthesia administered where necessary to ensure the patient’s complete comfort.

Professional teeth whitening

The professional teeth whitening with the Whitening Accelerator LED lamp, which we offer at Dentatime Clinic, guarantees noticeable and long-lasting results, whitening teeth by an average of 3 to 5 shades.

In just one hour at the dental surgery, the colour of your teeth is significantly improved. This whitening method is the safest and gentlest thanks to the precise filtering of ultraviolet rays, resulting in a beam of cool blue light that penetrates deep into the tooth structure without any side effects or pain.

The procedure is harmless and painless; only in some patients, in rare cases, is sensitivity possible in the treated area, which subsides within 1 to 3 days

Preparation and aftercare recommendations

Every cosmetic procedure begins with an initial consultation. This is when a detailed examination is carried out, along with digital diagnostics and X-rays, to assess the condition of the teeth and gums.

An important part of the preparation is good preventive care and oral hygiene. We recommend a professional teeth cleaning prior to cosmetic procedures to ensure an optimal working environment. If necessary, root canal treatment of damaged teeth or gum treatment may be required beforehand.

After taking precise impressions and creating models, the patient has the opportunity to see a preview of their future smile. This approach ensures that the final result will meet expectations.

After cosmetic procedures, it is important to follow the basic recommendations for dental care:

For veneers and ceramic crowns

avoid hard foods for the first 24 hours.

For teeth whitening

avoid staining drinks (coffee, tea, red wine) and foods for the first 48 hours.

For bonding

be careful when biting down, avoid hard foods initially and always maintain very good oral hygiene.

Post-operative care is just as important as the preparation and performance of the procedure itself.

What are the benefits of cosmetic dentistry?

Modern cosmetic dentistry is far from being just about a beautiful smile. It is a comprehensive approach that combines dental health with the restoration of self-esteem and quality of life. The benefits of cosmetic dentistry are many and cover various areas.

A beautiful smile boosts self-esteem and confidence in social interactions. Many cosmetic procedures also improve dental function – better chewing, a more correct bite and a reduced risk of dental problems in the future. Modern techniques allow excellent results to be achieved with minimal intervention on natural tooth structures.

At Dentatime, we take a holistic approach, combining cosmetic treatment with implantology, prosthetics and orthodontics to provide a comprehensive solution to all dental problems.

Frequently asked questions

Cosmetic dental procedures carried out in a professional dental clinic such as Dentatime carry minimal risks. With veneers and ceramic crowns, temporary sensitivity is possible, which usually subsides within a few days. With teeth whitening, some patients may experience slight gum irritation or temporary tooth sensitivity, which is completely reversible.

Cosmetic procedures are not recommended in cases of active gum inflammation, untreated tooth decay or serious periodontal disease – these conditions must be treated first. Professional whitening and more invasive procedures should be postponed during pregnancy. Patients with bruxism (teeth grinding) must first receive appropriate treatment before having veneers fitted.

Yes, regular maintenance is key to the long-term success of cosmetic treatment. We recommend professional cleaning every 6 months, excellent daily oral hygiene with a toothbrush and dental floss, avoiding harmful habits such as nail-biting or chewing on hard objects, as well as regular check-ups.
